Sicily’s reputation as a food and wine paradise has remained intact for more than 3,000 years. Sicily has more vineyards than any other region in Italy and it also grows more grapes.

The area surrounding Mt. Etna has emerged as Sicily’s most exciting wine region. Vineyards grow on dramatic steep hillsides and varying aspects towards the sea creating micro climates that add a mosaic of distinct flavors and aromas into the wines. The reds and white wines that come from these volcanic soils share a racy streak of minerality and, at their best, bear resemblance to red and white wines found in Burgundy, France.

Explore and expand your palette with the bold reds produced by Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Frappato and Nero d’Avola and with the crisp and dry whites produced by Grillo, Inzolia and Catarratto.
