Jeep Tour on Mt. Etna with Vineyard Lunch

Climbing up the volcano by jeep and through an ancient lava flow, you admire the Valle del Bove and a grotto of lava flow. You will stop at a mountain hut. From there, trek to the top craters of Sartorius Mounts, characterized by the big lava flow of the 1865 eruption. Afterward, we drive through the Mareneve road to a wonderful winery for a multi-course lunch.

After a walk amid the vines, during our wine tasting in the cellar, there will be time for relaxed conversation, discussing the winemaking process and getting a first-hand account the vineyard’s history and unique characteristics. This wine tasting vineyard adventure ends with a full lunch prepared on the estate, pairing the previously explored wines to a typical Sicilian meal.


Cooking Class Near Ragusa

Surrounded by the Ragusa countryside, characterized by thousand-years-old carob trees and limestone walls, you will arrive at a typical farmhouse. You will be welcomed by a cup of warm homemade ricotta cheese and other local cheeses will be your welcome in the courtyard of the house.
Then, you will be introduced to the history, passion and poetry of Sicilian food. You will learn how to cook traditional dishes such as caponata", ravioli di ricotta, scacce ragusane, and cassatine, a moist cake with ricotta. You will enjoy your meal and take the recipes back home.


Vino Walk in Palermo

A sommelier will give you an overview of the history of winemaking and the basics of production, highlighting local grape varieties, regional characteristics and individual wine producers. At a local enoteca in Palermo, you will enjoy a selection of 5 to 7 wines with some nibbles. Wine lovers will love this introduction to the broad spectrum of Sicilian wines.
